Dr. Kirsten Petrie qualified from the University of Johannesburg in South Africa with a Master’s degree in chiropractic.
Dr. Petrie enjoys working with patients of all ages and has a special interest in treating pediatric patients as well as sports related conditions.
Dr. Petrie is a dedicated passionate chiropractor whose aim is to help find the main cause of what is causing pain and dysfunction; she also believes in patient education in order to help her patients live a healthier, well balanced life.
During her studies she was involved in
numerous sporting events whilst studying such as the Joberg2c, Absa Cape Epic cycling events. She also completed a year’s service of outreach in her final year of studies at the ethembeni children’s home.
Dr Petrie ran her own successful practice for 2 and half years after graduating. It was during this time that she completed various pediatric courses to broaden her knowledge on the pediatric patient. Dr Petrie is also currently completing her FICS course.
Dr Petrie has extensive qualifications and certification in specialist fields that include techniques such as dry needling, cupping, functional and kinetic treatment with rehab, rigid and kinesiology taping techniques.
